PM Shehbaz to review relief, rehabilitation efforts in Balochistan
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will review relief and rehabilitation efforts for flood victims during his trip to Balochistan on Monday. The premier arrived in Jacobabad earlier today for his day-long trip to Balochistan and will visit Sohbatpur and Khuzdar districts of the province. The district administration of Sohbatpur will brief the premier on the ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts in the flood-affected areas. PM Shehbaz will also visit the residence of the Chief of Balochistan National Party (Mengal) Nawab Akhtar Mengal in Wadh, Khuzdar to condole the death of his uncle. The devastating floods have adversely impacted about 33 million people and inundated 15% of the country, causing major hardships in the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan.
