Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Engineer, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, has announced that his party in collaboration with the Pakistan Business Forum and Alkhidmat are going to host ‘Mera Brand Pakistan’ initiative on January 20 and 21, to promote local brands. Addressing a presser held at the JI Karachi headquarters, he said that the initiative will decrease the import bill, help in expanding the country’s exports and stabilising the local economy. Naeem added that the proceedings from the event will be donated for the affected people of Palestine. He reiterated his demand for Returning Officers (RO) and District Returning Officers (DRO) from the judiciary. He pointed out that the Pakistan People Party supporters have been appointed as ROs and DROs in the Sindh province. On the occasion, he said that the JI would continue it’s support for Gaza against genocide of Palestinians by the Zionist regime.
